Privacy policy for VEGA Schedule
VEGA Schedule for iPhone. Last updated 9 August 2026.
VEGA Schedule has no account and no sign-in, and VEGA Works runs no server. Your events and reminders stay where they already are, in Apple's Calendar and Reminders. The app sends out one thing: a place written on an event, so it can estimate your trip.
What we collect
Nothing. There is no account and no sign-in. VEGA Works runs no server, so there is nowhere for your information to go.
The app carries no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising, and no tracking. There is no third-party software kit of any kind inside it. We receive no reports from the app, and no record of what you do in it.
Your events and reminders
VEGA Schedule reads and writes your events and reminders through EventKit. That is the same part of iOS that Apple's own Calendar and Reminders apps use. It asks your permission first. Until you allow it, it reads nothing.
The app does not copy your events or reminders anywhere. If you use iCloud with Calendar and Reminders, they sync through your own iCloud account. That is covered by Apple's terms and by your own iCloud settings.
What the app keeps on your iPhone
Everything below is kept on your iPhone and nowhere else.
- the tasks you type, with their deadlines and the effort you estimated
- the corrections you make to a getting-ready or travel estimate, so the next estimate is closer to your real times
- places the app has already looked up, so the same office is not looked up twice
- your settings
None of it is sent to us. We hold no copy of any of it.
Location
Location is optional. If you turn on Use my location, the app reads your position to about 100 meters. It uses that to estimate the first trip of the day.
Nothing else in the app needs it. With location turned off, departure times fall back to a distance estimate or a fixed table.
What the app sends out
The app sends out one thing, and only if you use the feature that needs it.
Some events have a place written on them. To estimate the trip, the app needs a coordinate for that place. The first time it meets a place it has not looked up, it sends that text to Apple's Maps service. For example, "Shibuya Stream, Tokyo".
The answer comes back as a coordinate and is kept on your iPhone. The same office is never looked up twice. What is sent is the text you or the event's organizer wrote. Your name, your identity, and the event's title are not sent.
Apple's handling of that request is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. If you never open a day that contains an event with a place, this never happens.
Dictation
If you dictate an event, speech recognition runs on the iPhone where the iPhone supports it. Where your iPhone cannot recognize that language on the device, iOS performs it through Apple's speech recognition. That is done by iOS, and Apple's terms apply.
Apple Intelligence
On iPhones that support it, the app can use Apple Intelligence. It can tidy up a sentence you typed, and it can read a photo of a timetable.
Where a request would go to Apple's Private Cloud Compute, iOS tells you, and Apple's terms apply. Every feature that uses it also has a path that does not. When it is unavailable, the app says so.
Photos
The app reads only a photo you choose to import. It does not read your contacts, your messages, your health data, your browsing, or anything about other apps.
Purchases
Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. The app is told only whether a purchase is active. It never sees your name, your payment details, or your Apple Account.
Children
VEGA Schedule is not directed at children. It collects nothing about age.
Deleting your information
Deleting the app removes everything it kept on your iPhone.
Your events and reminders are not ours to delete. They live in Apple's Calendar and Reminders, and they stay there. Anything the app created is an ordinary event. You delete it like any other.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes are also noted in the app's release notes.
